Bride squad robes, pyjamas and socks

This shelf carries the largest pool of ratings on the site, and it is worth knowing why: robes and pyjamas are bought for weddings as well as for weekends, so the same pieces have been through a great many more parties than the balloons have. Nearly half of what stands here is a robe, and a satin robe sold as one size is cut generously rather than universally, so the ones that give a size run are the ones to read if the group is not all the same shape. Socks are the quiet third of this shelf and the most sensible present on it. They come in packs, they cost a fraction of a robe, they fit anybody, and they are the only piece here that gets worn again in February. If the budget has to cover eight people and the bride, the usual split is one good robe for her and socks for everybody else, which photographs better than nine cheap robes and costs about the same.

Everything on this shelf is one of robe, pyjama set or socks, and every card in the Bride Squad lineup carries the price, the pack count and the widest measurement, so the sums are done before you order.
