Six checks

What to settle before you order

None of these takes five minutes, and every one of them is a reason people order twice.

  1. 01

    Count the heads first

Everything else follows from it. Six in a rented house and twelve at a beach are two different orders, and the second one is answered by the pack count rather than by the price.

  2. 02

Ask for sizes before you ask anything else

Shirts and tanks are the only pieces here that need an answer from every person, and they are the ones printed to order. The reply that arrives two days before the flight is the one nobody wants.

  3. 03

    Divide before you decide

A pack of twelve tumblers and two packs of six sit side by side at similar prices, and one of them is cheaper per cup. The card works the division out where the count is printed.

  4. 04

Separate the room from the people

Balloons, banners and backdrops are bought once for the wall. Counting those per head is the fastest way to double an order between Tuesday and Wednesday.

  5. 05

    Decide what goes home

Half of a welcome bag is used up by the Sunday and half of it travels home in a case. Work out that split first, and let colour follow it.

  6. 06

    Think about the suitcase

A balloon arch packs flat and a stemmed glass does not. If anybody is flying, weight and breakage decide more than the theme does.

The weekend list

Every pack count, size and colour in the Bride Squad selection sits behind this button, with the figures from our last update against each one.

  1. One sash for the bride, one each for the squad
  2. Shirts sized and asked for six weeks out
  3. Drinkware counted per person, plus two
  4. Wall pieces counted once, for the room
