62 pieces answer this question. These are the 24 people buy most; the rest are on the shelves below.
Balloons are the one part of this order that is bought for the room rather than per person, and counting them per head is the most common way a decoration budget doubles. The packs here run large for a reason: a garland across the back of a sofa swallows far more balloons than the photograph suggests, and the kits are sold on the assumption that you will pop a few learning how the strip works. Where a pack on this page prints a count, sixteen is the middle of it and the biggest packs run to a hundred.
Buy the kit rather than loose bags if this is the first garland you have built. A kit arrives with the strip, the glue dots and a mix of sizes already worked out, and the mix is what makes a garland look like a garland instead of a row. Inflate the day before if the room allows it: a foil letter holds overnight without trouble, while latex left in a hot car goes soft and latex left in an air-conditioned room shrinks by morning. The giant letters are the exception to everything above. They are bought one at a time, they photograph as the backdrop on their own, and one of them is usually enough.
This page is one slice of the Bride Squad roster, cut by the job rather than by the shelf the pieces sit on.
Split two ways
Two ways down to the same 62 balloons, and both of them are short.

Questions people ask
More than the photograph suggests. The kits here are sized for the job and print their count on the card, and the packs run to dozens rather than to the eight or ten a first-time build expects.
The day before, if the room allows it. Foil letters hold overnight. Latex goes soft in a hot car and shrinks in air conditioning, so it wants to be blown up where it will be used.
No. Balloons, banners and backdrops are bought once for the room. Counting the wall pieces per head is the fastest way to double a decoration order.
