The getting-ready photograph is the reason this page exists, and it is taken at about ten on the Saturday morning with everybody in the same thing. A satin robe sold as one size is cut generously rather than universally, which works for most groups and does not work for all of them, so where a real size run is given it is worth reading that one first. This part of the catalogue carries the largest pool of ratings on the site, because robes are bought for weddings as well as for weekends and these have been through a great many more mornings than the balloons have.
Colour behaves oddly in satin. The same dye reads pale in daylight by a window and saturated under a hotel lamp, and a set of blush robes photographed on a bed at noon will not look like the photograph taken in a studio. If the plan is a photograph, put the bride in a colour that contrasts with the rest rather than in a lighter shade of the same one. The honest budget note on this page is that one good robe for the bride and something simpler for everybody else usually photographs better than nine identical cheap ones, and costs about the same.
This page is one slice of the Bride Squad list, cut by the job rather than by the shelf the pieces sit on.

Questions people ask
Most are sold that way, and one size in satin means cut generously rather than fitting everybody. Where a real size run is given, the range is on the card.
Contrast beats matching. Satin reads pale by a window and deeper under a lamp, so putting the bride in a different colour rather than a lighter shade of the same one is what makes the photograph work.
One good robe for the bride and something simpler for everybody else usually photographs better than nine cheap matching ones, and lands at about the same price.
